Ajax is a cleaning product or a pets name to me.

"It makes cleaning oh so easy, it's tough on all things greasy"
First thing that popped into my head, sorry.

I like PP's suggestion of Jax though.

I absolutely love the name and would totally use it if this bub is a boy.

But, I never will because the word is just so synonymous with the cleaning product.
Put it this way, in a thread long ago, someone commented on kids in Africa being named after household products in the west. The name they used as an example was Ajax. *sigh*

I like Ajax because of the origins of it but have to admit that the cleaning product was the first thing that came to mind.

Haha, wellll, this is the response I expected! Thanks to all for the honest opinions.

We were going to use Jax as a nick name, but we don't like it as a full name. It just doens't seem like a 'proper' name...then again, a cleaning product brand isn't a proper name either it seems! Haha

Will continue on the search for a name we love!

    Gosh, names are sooo hard!

I love it but didn't know it was a cleaning product. Wouldn't be able to use it because of that, unfortunately.
