    Rudd will run. He is just trying to make it look like he was reluctant but finally gave in to the insistence of his caucus colleagues.

    Rudd will run and Julia will go. Everyone is sick of it so she has to go.

    Sometime before September Shorten will take over. It may not even be a coup - Rudd needs to get in and clean up the mess and like him or not he has the ability to get them to pull their sh!t together. He is a master media manipulator. No one apart from those inside the ALP knew how disliked he was before Gillard toppled him. It's one of the reasons he still has support.

    Bob Carr is out of Australia atm, not sure if others can vote in his absence but I know he can't vote himself.
