I think people have short memories. Rudd's approval rating was well below 40% when he got dumped.

Let's face it, nothing can save the labor party. Heaven help us come September.

Even if there was nothing happening, the media constantly asking about the leadership makes the party look unstable.

I think the other thing that's interesting is that parties see that some politicians can win them elections but don't necessarily have the personality to lead a party in government. The recent turn over of the premier in Victoria is an example. DH went to a lunch years ago where it was said he could win them the Vic election but would be removed not long after as he wouldn't be able to govern the party once in power.

The big question is... If Rudd gets in and poses a threat, will Liberal do the same thing? Rudd vs Turnbull, bring it on!
Yes Rudd vs Turnbull now that's an election!!!

Julia and her stupid western Sydney visit she just made more people hate her. Western Sydney was the heartland of Labor now most have turned their backs because of her. We dont want your handouts most people here are actually decent hard working families who just want a government who isn't screwing up the country.

The media are the ones that actually have the biggest influence over when a leadership spill takes place.

Look at the way that they continue to poll on who was preferred prime minister -Rudd v Gillard. When actually the question should be Gillard v Abbott.

PS. My post above is the reason why the idea of having a smaller minimum character for posts was a good idea
