Well I'm expecting the wealthy to be happy under libs as they will get looked after so I won't be telling them I told you so lol they know their wealth will only increase under lib to the detriment of the lower income brackets so that's to be expected.

It's the middle income earners that don't understand the policies and don't realise they are infact middle income and will be standing to lose a fair bit of money that I will be saying I told you so to.

On two party preferred it was different.

If you do one vote = one vote - should preferential voting also go then?

I've just looked at a list of the results over the last 70 years.

In that time, the results of the election would only have been different (ie. two party preferred number of votes greater than the party that won via seat allocation) seven times.

Oh, I will love the day I can say it to my dad because he's a staunch liberal voter and on the pension!

Sorry - was trying to link my table of the last 70 years in - but wasn't working.

In 1998 Labor would've got in instead of the Libs, but in 1990 the libs woud've got in instead of labor

I think it should stay as is, although i hate preferences. Even in USA, it's done by each state (I think) not actually the number of votes for whole country.
