Default 1 month old sleep time

When did your baby start sleeping more then 3 hrs? My 1 month old still sleeps about 3 hrs if I'm lucky. And how have you got your bub to sleep longer?

All Bubs sleeping patterns are different and 3 hours is still pretty good for a newborn.
I've been lucky and had 4 great sleepers. I'm not sure if this had helped them sleep but I established a bit of a routine so they new it was sleep time. So a small feed, bath, massage, dress then another big feed, wrap and put in bassinet for sleep. Worked for us but obviously not everyone. I also play music in their rooms from birth.

My 3.5 month old only sleeps during the night, through the day 20mins-1hr at a time tops. But she sleeps from 8pm to 7am. This started around 4 weeks ago

My one month old sleeps for three hours on average as well, a little more if I'm lucky!
