This article was discussed back in April when it was released. See post #368 on page 37.

I'll state it again. Yes, it has warmed. Attempting to measure temperature using tree rings and pollen from 2000 years ago does not nullify the fact the models have failed disgracefully in their prediction of temperature increase.

Do you have an article that can explain why the models have been so bad?

Ladies, let's let sleeping dogs lie.

The models have been discussed extensively throughout the thread, with articles linked explaining how they work. If Father knows what page beebs' article was discussed on then I'm sure he's capable of going back and reading again. As we've learned though, he only considers his info suitable so let's just leave him alone with that.

I would love this thread to disappear to the depths of my participated section! Or even better, for the mods to close it!

ETA: just a little bit about Dr Roy Spencer (where father's recent link/graph is from):

I don't need an article, it's called a "model" for a reason. You obviously failed 7th grade biology Father, if you'd past you would know what a Hypothesis is and what it means

No one has ever said that hypothesis were going to be 100% accurate. But you know what, they have predicted that the earth is warming due to humans, and they were right. they have predicted that climates will change, and they are being proven right, they have predicted that species will die and guess what, they are right.

    What more do you want.

Can you please stop Cherry picking - it is what the anti vaxxers do, you sound just like them. I heard about something called Agenda 21 the other day, it sounds right up your alley. You should look it up.

PS - did you know that 13 babies have died from Herpes due to circing, isn't that also one of your scientifically flawed pet loves?

You certainly do like denying science don't you.

Skeptical science seems to be your only source for everything. Spencer says some very good points in both of your above links. I am happy to discuss each of his quotes if you like. I don't think skeptical science's one sentence response rebuts his points at all. They are valid points. If you think they are invalid, lets discuss them.

There's plenty of links debunking Roy Spencer, I just felt those two were the most in-depth. Others can simply pop his name in google if they'd like to read more. Like I said, I feel we should let sleeping dogs lie. After witnessing your cherry-picking of the UNHCR report on another thread (and throughout here) I find it hard to take your arguments seriously. The models have been discussed in this thread. I also feel you want answers that you would be better finding on a science forum and not a parenting forum. Like I said a couple weeks ago, I'm not qualified to answer them (nor are you I assume) so I'll stick with a majority of the worlds leading scientists.
