I don't understand what your definition of a 'downward trend' is.
But statistically speaking, there was a downward trend between 1940 and 1970.
Did you not go to the beloved 'skepticalscience' website and have a look at the actual trends? Trends are mathematically calculated. I would suggest that you use a bit more than your eyeball before you suggest that the maths is wrong.

I can be frustrated but still post. I enjoy a debate.
Why do you keep posting? You have said time and time again that you don't want to post, but yet you do.

I've done well at ignoring your posts for weeks. Sometimes I cave, nobody's perfect.

I'm pretty familiar with stats thanks, it's what I do for a living.

If you don't understand what I mean by a downward trend then I can't help you.

For the love of god ,I should never have posted in this thread weeks ago.

I don't understand why you're hell bent on swaying peoples opinions it hasn't happened yet and you've had this thread going for how long ? And I'm pretty sure not one person has agreed with you. You're either very bored or like I said hell bent on finding someone who agrees with you.

It is isn't it? That is exactly what it is like when one gets involved in a conversation with you on certain subjects.

    a) almost all climate scientists agree that this is happening and it is happening because of us.

    b) But Lord Monkton, Gina Rinehart and Father say it isn't so.

Tough decision, but I think I am going to stick with A. Thanks for playing though Father.

Whoah. You do stats for a living?
I would have though you would be able to explain a simple statement to a layman. Clearly not.

I see you acknowledge that some climate scientists agree with me.

I hope that is not how you make up all of your decisions - majority rule.
I prefer to think for myself.

What would be the point? You are consistently condescending when others have tried to explain things to you. You have had scientists, including climate scientists, on here telling you it's all happening and you consistently are condescending to them and ignore what they are saying.

Who's burying their head in the sand?
