Definitely! I'm desperate for Bubhub to come up for a way to be able to delete threads from your 'Participated' section!

I do! It like talking to people with their head buried in the sand. Apparently the climate is not allowed to change and global warming is not the problem???

No, you didn't 'mention a cooling period'. You said of the graph that Bec posted:

'it also clearly shows the decline between the 40's and 70's'

This is not true, that graph shows no such thing, especially not 'clearly'. I'm not making any comment about climate fluctuations, I am making the point that you seem to struggle a bit to interpret graphs.

Let's just keep going in circles. Yes, they are trying to decrease temps because warming also matters in our attempt to 'fix' what we have done. But they look at many aspects to determine that it is happening.

Again, I (and many, including NASA) see an upward trend in temps. You do not. Those who see the upward trend want to decrease it and help minimize damage. You do not.

Uuuumm. Yes it does. What do you think it shows during that period?

Why do you keep posting then?! Why not go have the debate somewhere else? This thread has been active for months now and you haven't gotten a new people participating...

Global warming is happening! That's the point! But we all also understand that the scientists look at so much more than temps and are drawing the conclusion that we are causing detrimental change.

Again, many of us see an upward trend in temps (including NASA) you for some reason seem to have some sort of environmental beer goggles on.

I think I speak for most in this thread when I say we believe it's the other way around with who is burying their head in the sand.

There are not many scientists left that have not conceded the fact that the warming has 'stalled'.
I'll post the May update in a week.

    Yes.

I'd be more inclined to say that there is no particular trend evident in that time frame.
Whilst you 'may be inclined' to not see a trend, scientists do see a trend. A trend of cooling (or a decline in temperatures) during that period.
