It's good, I was very into the first season but this is my second go at the first two episodes of the second. It's VERY violent, I look away a lot!

Mine too. DD1 is 7.5 and is obsessed with animals and the environment (like so many kids her age). Her understanding of the link between man and animals becoming extinct is wonderful but at the same time saddens me. When I was her age I was blissfully unaware of these things. She genuinely worries about the world and the damage she personally might be doing to it.

I really feel for kids these days. They really do carry a burden.

Sonja, that's great. You should focus on the positive things she can do to help. Reducing plastic use, recycling, national tree planting day, clean up Australia day, walking instead of driving. You can really turn it into a positive thing rather than a burden

Yes we do. She gets stressed though about the bigger picture. That's the burden I am referring to (not making changes).

That's what I meant focus on the things she can do, rather than what she can't

When was that written? I am referring to the last decade or so. Haven't they gone up in recent years?
That link didn't really have any info on it. No population numbers.
