    Default Toddler shoes!

Where do you buy your toddler shoes from? How much do you spend on toddler shoes?

DS is 16 months and is now a size 6 but we have no size 6 shoes

DS1s first pair of shoes was a $50 pair of Nike frees. Best money I EVER spent! Got them from an athletes foot store :-)

DS has more shoes than me! I get most of mine in the US, as pp said Nike are really good and wear really well, we have a heap of converse, Ralph Lauren, Gap and Keens have really good enclosed toe toddler sandals , in Australia ive bought some at Osh Kosh and pumpkin patch which have cool colours for boys! I try buy most on sale and are usually between $20-40 the cheapest is Gap thongs I bought for $2.50 and most expensive ( DH was not impressed) were $120 Ralph Lauren black leather boots ( but he did wear them a lot!)

A friend of mine has worked as a manager in a heap of shoe stores and opened his own a few years back and he suggested shoes n sox as they are well made. He said its really important to have a well made shoe for little growing feet so DS has had two pairs from there. They were on sale so were $40-$50 per pair.

We've been getting DS Adidas shell toes online, they really last the distance even with him using his toes as a brake for his scooter, they're barely scuffed. Then he has one other pair of airflex from Betts, I only buy the sales ones because omg expensive. Currently has airflex sandals but will be looking for boots soon. Then a few little cheap and colourful pairs of canvas shoes for slipping on and off when we'll mainly be somewhere they're off. And gumboots.

Air flex from betts kids. They are about 40 each and I buy 1 pair per season. Maybe 2 pair if they are on sale.

I bought my DD a pair of skeanies. They're so good and have full support in them too.

When my ds was little he would have one pair of sneakers and one pair of sandals (for summer) and gumboots. Sometimes if Mum bought them he would have a pair of 'good shoes' for dressing up, but I rarely bought those, but didn't complain if Mum took him to get them.

My dd is nearly 17 months and she has 2 pairs of sandals (I bought one pair from Mathers but they were stiff & hard to get on and just not comfy for her from day 1) and 1 pair of sneakers. But, when I put her in tights today I realised she needs 'dress shoes' to go with tights & dresses and I realised that girls shoes are going to be a major expense. Her sneakers were $60 and her good sandals were around $50, both from Clarks. They are fantastic shoes though - she can even put them on herself cause they are soft & easy to manipulate. I did buy her gumboots recently for a massive $9 from BigW.
