    Default When to seek help?

Hi ladies, just wondering how long you waited to seek help with ttc journey?
I know they say 12 months for healthy couple but how do they determine there the "healthy" couple without testing?
Maybe I am just going crazy after 8 months but just wanting to know what other ppl experienced and how long would you wait?

Hi. We waited about 9 months before going to get tested. We just lied to get a referral (as it turned out I don't think I needed to) I just knew something wasn't right and I was getting so down that really it wasn't doing me any good by waiting longer. It turned out my dh had severe mfi making it almost impossible for us to conceive naturally. We started ivf straight away and I was pregnant by the time the 12 month mark rolled around. It's your body. Do what feels right. You can get tests done if you want them. Hopefully you have nothing to worry about and it's just taking a little longer.

We waited just 6 months. My instincts told me something was wrong. Luckily our gp happily referred us to a fertility specialist which revealed we had severe male factor infertility and I had one polycystic ovary. We went straight into ivf 3 months later and got our DD first cycle.

We only waited 6 months then went to the GP. All my blood tests are fine and DHs SA is all good. We're booked in to see the FS in 2 weeks (our 8th month TTC). If something is wrong I'd rather know sooner than later. Especially since DD was a surprise. Do what feels right for you. Good luck!

Our FS said people should wait 12 months if under 35 or 6 months if over

My acupuncturist recommended we see a doctor after 2 cycles with her she said that my hormones are doing what they should but there may be something else affecting us. This is 9th cycle, we will see how this one goes but bf has agreed to get tested if we don't succeed this month

I saw my FS before we even started trying. I knew about my low AMH so the GP gave me the referral. Then we found out about DH severe low count. We're in our 2nd month TTC naturally despite being recommended to go straight to ICSI (too expensive for us at the moment).
