    Default Confused??

    Good Morning Ladies,

I am a tad confused at the moment, and i thought what better place to come for some advice.

I was due for AF 26/02, it never showed up, so i went and got some 1st response tests and all 3 came up with faint positives, getting a little darker each day, as they were so faint i never got too excited as with DD1 there was no doubting the 2nd line, it was darker than the test line. I had all the classic pg symptoms, still never got my hopes up as i was just not sure.

Anyway, on 2/3 (so 4 days late) i started spotting, then the next day it seemed as AF had arrived (normal flow) for about 2 days or so, thats about it. However ever since then i have had brown spotting / cm which is strange considering AF has been gone for 10 days or so. Along with that i have constant lower back pain, cramping and bb's are still sore.

Has anyone else experienced this before? As i have never and its very confusing

    Thanks all for your help

You need to see a doctor and get a quantitative HCG. You could probably also get a 6 week scan to see what's going on. Fingers crossed for you!!

Try a digital test, it gives more of an accurate indication of HCG levels. Fingers crossed for you!

It couldn't have been implantation bleeding. Implantation is actually the thing that triggers the release of hCG into the body, so it's impossible to get a positive pregnancy test before implantation.

I would get to your doctor quickly. Things could be fine, bleeding often occurs during a healthy pregnancy. But it could also be any number of other things, eg a miscarriage where tissue has remained behind causing your hCG to remain detectable.

    Please act quickly.

I'm sure all will be fine. I'm cautious because of my own experience... Bleeding and then low but increasing hCG for a few weeks (more than high enough to test positive on a HPT) after which I was treated for an ectopic.
