Of course it's something people need support with.
Yes, and there is even a mother in another thread getting her son done very soon who doesn't really want to, but her partner is so she is!

But if you are anti circ, and are happy with your choice, then what is the problem? Why do you need support for that decision?
    Seriously.

I don't see a problem with people wanting to talk to like minded others/ get support from others who may have been pressured into doing something they don't want to, etc.

Some of the arguments make no sense to me.

Saying 'if you're happy with your choice then why need support' could apply to ANY support thread. If you're happy BF/ FF, etc. then why need support? Well, for any number of reasons...

Saying 'if you're in the majority then why need support' also applies to most things. If you BF a newborn then you're in the majority. If you FF a 6mth old then you're in the majority. But people still need support.

If people want to discuss something then why not leave them to it?

Just want to add, I'm not against the debate of being anti circ, but I think maybe the OP could have worded the first post better, maybe giving reasons as to why she is so passionate about it (I would think based on her own experiences). Not just a blatant statement of the idea of it making her feel ill. Please remember people are looking for both sides of the debate at times and it is not always a woman's choice to have her son circ'd - and some actually don't understand much about the procedure either, hence coming here looking for advice.. It is also a fathers right to have a "say" about what they would like for their son.

Seriously? Because people have the right to seek support for their decisions. That is one of the reasons there are sub forums such as Anti or Pro Circ. why do people find the need to question others right to seek support.? So it's ok to have a support thread for pro circ but not anti?! Bollocks.

Vaccination is for medical reasons. My above statement only applies to those who circumsize for non medical reasons and no cutting the foreskin off just in case they get infection isn't a medical reason.
