Default Tall heavy toddler and newborn...need stroller recommendations

Any tips or advice will be greatly appreciated!

My DD is 17mths. She's really tall and weighs about 17 kg. I think she's about 93 cm....hard to get her still enough to measure for sure! I'm expecting our second child in late June when DD will be 20 months. Looking for a stroller to transport both. DD walks fine but she's also a runner and being so young she still tires easy. she's too heavy for me to carry for long.

DD only just fits in our MB Swift. She doesn't fit in the MB Duet.

Yesterday I put DD in a seat of the city select baby jogger on the floor (would not sit in it mid tantrum while it was tracked to the demo model!) but the visor when closed touched her head. I don't know if there was a difference in height between the two seats but this was with the visor moved to the highest position. I'm really lost now as all my online research pointed to the select! Now i need suggestions as starting to stress.

Please don't reply about baby wearing. I will do that but I make big babies (dd was over 10 lb) and i will be tired enough. I really need a stroller!

Would love to know what others have done. Many thanks x

My DS is older but a similar size to your DD, he is 96 cm and 15.6 kg. We have a double pram where he sits in front and my newbie lies down in the back. If you search doubletake on google images it is similar to that and both seats recline (the back all the way).

I'm thinking of getting a different stroller just for DS2 though with maybe a buggy board type thing on the back. DS1 walks most of the time now so he could just hop on if tired.

I had the same problem except my child is almost 4! (He has special needs which requires pram) and i have a newbie. The only pram i could find for him and newbie is the phil and teds verve 4wd. they both fit perfectly and the 4yr old is a big boy

Im due next week and my DD2 is 2.4 but is a runner so i prefer her strapped into a pram.
I brought the strider compact & 2nd seat with the intention of having her in the main seat. She fits well with a fair bit of room to spare and she pulls the sunhood down herself

Have a look at the Valco range.

I have the Zee and it's really tall! It comes in a Duo too.

Like Zombie said what about the verve? I used to have a Phil & teds Vibe years ago and the main seat is big and the newer verve is the same but 4 wheel version.

Just a heads-up, the vast majority of prams have a weight limit of 18kg. If it's a double pram you might want to check what the weight limit is for each chair.

Same issue, my toddler was bigger. I used the Strider Plus toddler at the bottom. The new version makes the toddler seat taller.
