    Default After birth pains

I never got any really with my first,
I hemmoraged badly with my second and he after birth pains were horrific and had me in tears.

I'm pregnant with baby 3 I'm wondering how were all your after birth pains in particular those who have has several births?

I don't know if my second births pains were due to the hemmoraging and were more painful then normal?

It's funny I'm actually more worried about getting the after Birth pain again and let's face it ( boobie engorgement) then birthing all over again! Lol

I haemoraghed with my first, but not my second. After pains with first weren't noticed, but with my second they were agony.

I didn't notice any with my first either, I was quite surprised at how bad they were with number 2, having had a cs didn't help either. I mentioned it to the midwife and she said you often don't get any with the first, and it's more with subsequent births. Not sure if there's any difference between 2nd and 3rd births though, hopefully someone else can help there! Anticipation might make it worse, try not to stress!

With my first they weren't too bad at all.
With my second they hurt like hell.
With my third they were even worse.

    Sorry.

I had a c-section with the twins, had no after pains.

But after having DD3 they were pretty bad, some as bad as contractions and would stop me in my tracks.

My 3rd baby is 6 days old and the after birth pains were awful! They lasted 3 days and were like severe contractions. I also didn't notice them with my first and not much with my second but this time - ouch!

I've only had the one, but I didn't get anything other then general muscle soreness . I hope it goes well for you and you don't get it again
