    Default Manduca vs ergo

So I tried on a Manduca today and both DS and I loved it! I had a look at the ergo and I was wondering if there was a difference besides the front pocket on the ergo? I liked the price of the Manduca better.

I would recommend the manduca if u like the fit ... as it is more adjustable , in that the newborn insert us inbuilt and the back of the carrier is more adjustable (in its zip Down feature .
Also I believe its slightly longer in the body than ergo so will suit to a bigger size/age

Bub and I love our manduca! (I've never tried an ergo so can't comment here) . I didn't know which one to get so went with the manduca because I liked the look of it and bub appeared to snuggle in well in pictures. It's very comfortable and the newborn insert is great. It's a good investment

DS is 5 months so won't need the newborn insert for him but yeah I really likes how close he was and he could still see everything (I was worried about no front-facing as he loves to look at everything).

I've got down serious hips so bigger is better but yeah so surprised at how comfy it was!

I tried both and bought the Manduca, we just couldn't get comfy in the ergo. Love it!

I wouldn't recommend the ergo, if you are plus size. I'm a size 18 at the moment, and it's quite tight. My partner is thin and he finds it much more comfortable.

I am fat and my baby can't sit comfortably in the ergo as there isn't room for his legs to fold up. It's fine for my 2 year old as her legs go out the sides.

Ps Manduca has same problem. Baby Bjorn is fine though.

I actually swapped my Manduca for a friends ergo as I found it very irritating to get on and off - the buckle is inordinately fiddly
