Default The end of the Northern Territories cash for cans

This is ludicrous. In South Australia the benefits can be seen so why is it so different in the NT?? We have lived in both states and everyone we knew saved there cans etc and took them in to deposit. We have seen many stretches of roads with kids, older adults and some that look like they may have been homeless collecting the cans, bottles etc. It is a great scheme that works and I believe it should be a national scheme.

This is what they are arguing for instead. This plan is great but it should be used along with a national deposit scheme.
