    it sounds like you have had a bit of a difficult journey. What an awesome effort for expressing for your baby for so long.

    Any chance that she would take extra feed at the breast, rather than express and feed?

    You may have tried this already, but with my dd i would offer right breast, left breast, then right breast again.

    I was able to avoid formula, but i know a number of people who been able to successfully balance formula and breastfeeding. Maybe taper off your expressing and see how you go. You could always do a power pump again if you thought your milk was getting bit low.

    I take my hat off to you for expressing for eight months. I did it full time for 12 weeks with DS2 and it just about did me in!

    I mix fed my DD from about three months and she self weaned at 10 months and I was happy with that. My supply just adjusted accordingly.
