Alittle - great numbers , with the scan.

JFB - you will get there with E . My E is still a bit unwell, she has a full blown cold now & had a bit of the runs tonight, if she doesn't get anymore teeth out of this I will be stunned bcs that's what usually happens when she's like this. We have my mum's bday lunch tomorrow and I have to have E minded bcs she can't be around her or my nieces' little bub with the heart condition, really disappointed bcs I wanted it to be a special day for mum & she loves E to bits.

Amum - I definately don't envy the packing but how exciting it's all happening.

Evie has been cracking me up heaps lately with the things she comes out with, we took mum to an appointment at the hospital the other day and as we were leaving a man in a red shirt who was a volunteer was walking a dalmation dog and came over to us as Evie was excited to see the dog, when he left us Evie waved and said 'bye Murray'...she thought he was a Wiggle . She's also been pointing to my bum and saying 'oh big bum' hardly something that should happen in a shop isle though. But yesterday when my lawn man left she said 'bye Dad' !! I thought WTF why would she say that?? It dawned on me she would see other dad's in high vis work gear at daycare dropping kids off & she associates it like that. I felt a pang of sadness that she doesn't have a dad, but it is what I chose to do and I knew that stuff like this would happen eventually but probably not this early, so now it's starting I have to prepare myself for the bigger questions like 'where is my daddy?' I thought I'd have it all figured out by now but I'm not quite sure what to say yet if she was to ask sooner rather than later, as I imagined she would be an age where I could explain it in a way she might understand. I'm sure it will be awhile yet before that question comes up but everything I have thought of to say seems pretty easy in my head but now I think will be quite hard to do really bcs it depends on when she starts to ask. Everything is easier said than done isn't it.

Well last night E slept from about 8 pm til.......5 am....fed her and she slept another 3 hours. that is her best effort to date....dont want to get my hopes upbut both me and dh are pretty chuffed....

kismet, there are books around that explain ivf and donor conceptions etc for kids ...not sure what age they cater for but it might help. I had to laugh at some of e comments...h has some good ones.....currently if he has done a poo he says there is a car in my nappy or a banana in my nappy ....for some reason " santa claus eats all my chocolates " too.

that's wonderful JFB. Yep don't question it just enjoy it!

Well little Marc is 2 today. We had a lovely birthday party for him yesterday at a community centre with lots of kids and a huge treasure hunt. He really got that it was all about him and loved the party. Can't believe how quickly he's growing up.

Sonja - happy birthday Marc, wow 2 already

JFB - yay E hope she keeps up the good sleep. I have a donor conception book called A Special Baby but I think it's suited for an older child, I've tried to show it to her but she's not interested in it, no pictures of animals or anything she thinks is exciting. It's something I'm going to bring up in my support group with some of the mums that have older kids and find out what they did.

I got so frustrated with Evie today with TT, she held it in all morning up until lunch time totally refusing to go anywhere but in her nappy, I can't believe it's taking so long to even get her to start, have been trying since friggen January and have had 1 wee in the toilet. It's been really hard to be consistant and stay home to concentrate on it with everything that's been going on with my mum etc so perhaps it's got to be put on hold for a bit then start trying again later. Topping that off with whingeing all day and didn't want to sleep, has been really cheeky & uncooperative...I feel like a wine but don't have any
