Hello lovely ladies, thanks so much for your support. I was very impressed yesterday when my Ob replied to an email I had sent him Saturday night explaining the events of Friday. He responded Sunday morning apologising for not being there to get the news (he was working in Sydney) and said he would arrange CVS for Monday with FISH so as we could get results on Tuesday. So I am scheduled for CVS with Andrew Ngu at 11.30am this morning. Not long til we head off now. One more sleepless night and then I pray we have some positive news tomorrow afternoon. Thank you all for your kind words and support.

    morning

alittle, another for today...im hoping that its just the usual skewed BT result that us older ivf'ers seem to get.

sonja: yes i guess her sleep is disrupted from changes to the routine as well. how are u coping these days?

we had E's party yesterday...small but nice. my dad looks pretty haggard, he is still keeping up with his committments (he is one of the directors of a big sports club over here and sits on an aged care board etc) but he was told his cancer is aggressive and prognosis is about 12 months...so not sure if he will make it to E's 2nd birthday

Alittle I I hope the CVS went well and you are resting up at home. I hope you get your results asap tomorrow. I know how excruciating that wait is.

JFB. I'm so sorry about your Dad. I can't imagine how hard that would be not knowing off he was going to see your babies next birthday. Very sad

Alittle - hoping for good news tomorrow

JFB it is incredibly hard knowing the time you have with someone you love is limited ... I lost my Dad to cancer 11 years ago.

Well I'm not sure how we can be so unlucky, but my little one has Down Syndrome. Forgive me if I am absent for a while. I'm really struggling with all of this. So wish I could wake up and it all be a very bad dream.

Alittle I feel completely devastated for you. I wish there was something I could say. I do know how you feel as our first baby had T18 but died at 12 weeks. The grief was overwhelming. I'm so incredibly sorry Alittle x
