JFB - I recently got AF for the first time and DD was 7.5mths old. I still BF full time. It came very suddenly in a very heavy flow and I didn't have any spotting beforehand. Of course it chose Stella's baptism day to appear It sounds like yours is starting to make an appearance more gradually. I think you are a saint not to bop DH on the head and put HIM out with the garbage Hope you get some rest soon.

Amum - Isn't PW a beautiful soul? I'm glad you managed to catch up in person.

Sonja - I'm sooo glad others know about issues with rats. I recently found one was nesting in my newly plastered and insulated roof It was making so much noise we thought it was a possum and then the possum man caught it on one of those infrared cameras. Big cheeky rat running along the rafters merrily. It had shredded insulation, peed, crapped all over my new plaster, and generally messed up my pristine roof space. So it was baited and hopefully went to rat heaven (outside). I'm too scared to go up there and check (noises have ceased). Now I'm spending $$$ ratproofing the roof. About $3k. Rats The pest controller said every time someone in the street renovates or demolishes a house they disturb rat nests and so the rats relocate nearby. We've had 3 renovations/rebuilds in the last year.

Nessie - I hope your son passes the 3 yr 'bump' soon. Stella has just reached 8 mths and decided to reject eating for a few days (would blow raspberries and turn her head every time a spoon was near her mouth). Only wanted boobie. She's better today. From this thread, it looks like I have a lot of interesting behaviour ahead.

BK - the clock was about $20 or $25, got it a few months ago but they might get them in again, it's cute really and has 2 clock faces, Evie likes it but just doesn't follow my directions with it, maybe one day.

JFB - spotting, feeling very tired and ill...um what do those symptoms mean again??? just joking ..I think..well as we know strange things can happen . I am also a slack mum, guilty of turning the tv on and going back to bed until someone wants to ramp it up and join me or pester me, 1/2 hr makes a big difference sometimes, it's pretty safe at their age. Evie's pretty good lately, she will wake up and yell out to me to wake up, but I ignore her then she will start singing and I stay in bed until she gets too vocal or I think it's time I should get up, she hasn't realised she can get out of bed by herself yet & I'm not teaching her too otherwise she will be up and out all the time.

Millie - Could be Stella is playing with you or may have had a sore mouth if she's getting teeth. However, Evie did that about the same age but wouldn't snap out of it, it got to the point I had to gently hold her face and get the spoon in her mouth otherwise she wouldn't eat, she became a real pain to feed, she was the same at daycare, at one stage she wasn't putting on enough weight and the only thing she was happy to eat was vegemite toast or little square sandwiches. Then all of a sudden she changed and just chowed down and been a pretty good eater since except the past week or so she's starting to refuse vegies which she's always liked, I think at her age now she's trying to make up her own mind what she wants to eat but I'm not having that.

Nessie - Ash needs to see his girlfriend

Millie - both my boys went off lumpy foods when teething. Especially spencer. He would refuse everything unless it was puréed to within an inch of its life
