I looked at that and there was no option for regular delivery. Express was fine though!

Happy belated birthday Scarlett and Kade!

The last few weeks has been so busy with my new business. I am so tired by the end of the day. Only 2 more weeks and we can do NT scan and hopefully I'll get a bit more energy back. 10 week scan today. Nausea is driving me batty. Have to continuously eat to keep it at bay, but if I continue eating at this rate, they will have to chair lift me into delivery ward.

Oooop - crying child - gotta run.

FIASM - heelllooo stranger!! hope you are keeping well.

Alittle - how did your scan go?

Sonja - still having a little trouble with Evie sooking and crying at bed time but it seems to be improving, I leave her door ajar with the hall light on now until she's asleep, her nightlight makes shadows on the walls that I think freak her out so I don't use it. She's been dropping her day sleep now and then for awhile, I'm starting to think it's attention seeking now, she's fine to get into bed and let me read to her but not when I go to leave and if I decide to sit and talk or sing with her she's happy, she hasn't been hysterical the last few nights just sooky. Seem to get over one thing and another problem starts, she's refusing foods I know she likes lately...pushing my buttons for sure, I can see she's just trying to get her own way.

JFB - how is work going? has it been a struggle to juggle 2 kids and getting organised to get there?

Millie - how are you and Stella coping with the brace?

    hi

kismet, work is weird, when im here im like this is so boring....but whenever i have a bad moment with the kids im wishing i was at work...even tho its very slow here its still tiring having to get up, drive etc...hopefully it will pick up soon, should do but having a few days to just chill at work has been quite nice. i have seen a permanent part time job closer to home, slightly less pay but wondering maybe i apply altho will totally depend on what days etc they want..the drive would be less than half and no toll expenses....so mmmmmm. tired today as woke at 3.30am but after 2 kids tbh i think ive adjusted to sleep deprivation so as long as i get a coffee in me im ok. now im back at work im noticing how lazy dh is around the house...time for one of THOSE convo's....

how is your job hunting going?

well im LOVING autumn..we went chestnut picking on the weekend..now i have 2.5kg of chestnuts to do something with.

JFB - I think you should go for the job, being closer to home would appeal to me, you would save on fuel and toll for a start, wouldn't be such a drag to commute as far, you never know, you might like it better than your current job and be happy for a slight pay cut...enquire about the days required to see if they suit, I usually ring a company up if I see a job that doesn't specify the days to work etc. Job hunting has slowed a bit, there hasn't been anything worth applying for lately that suits me, I've been more focused on my course trying to get into a routine with that. Wish I was a bit more technical with things, I've just bought a new printer and can not install it...driving me up the wall!!! I've spent all arvo and tonight trying to get it working and wasted so much time..grrrr . At least Evie has been easier to get to bed lately, haven't had a meltdown for 3 nights now, but she woke up scared by the storm last night and I had to put her into bed with me..that only lasted until the storm ended & put her back to her bed cos I just can not sleep in the same bed as her she's so fidgety and I get smacked in the face alot with arms flinging everywhere & kicked etc.

    Very quiet on here... everyone

    hi

yep really quiet....altho i guess i actually check it more now im at work LOL!!!

i decided against the other job as there would be no scope to increase days as needed or if we needed for $$$...at least here im on "mat leave" so can work part time til the kids are school aged and its nice to have that option.

im really struggling with the idea of having to put E into daycare 3 days a week ...she is booked into three days in about one month..daycare often say she is unsettled in the morning and they bring H into the babies room to help her settle down which she likes...H has only started 3 days day care this week as i managed to keep him at 2 days until now...ive always had this idea that under 2yo i like them to only go 2 days...no reason just MY reasoning.....the babies room is almost full now there so its quite busy too....i know my DH will think im being stupid but she looks SO little compared to H and she is a different baby....i know daycares often say kids who go more days actually cope better so i guess its my attachment issues.....

JFB I have the same views. Lucy didn't start daycare until she was over 2 and then it was only for 2 days a week with a nanny on the 3rd day (and early pick up on the other 2). I put Scarlett in at 11 months on the same basis. I just think 3 days is too much. Even now Scarlett only goes to kindy 5 days a fortnight and she finds it exhausting. Do you have to increase to 3 days? We hemorrhage money to nannies and I wonder if it's worth it but I couldn't put Marc in care yet so it's the option I'm stuck with.
