    Hey guys!
How is every-one going? I'm thinking of going into the centre next week to introduce the little fella. Does any-one know what days Lou is in?

Hi there. I'm sure this has been asked before, but I tried searching and couldn't find it...has anyone with a low AMH used this centre? If so, how low is your AMH? I've heard that due to low costs they only use low dose stims (so therefore would be pointless for someone with low AMH who needs higher dosage of stims), but just wanted to check it out to be sure. Just moved to QLD from Sydney and looking into baby #2.

    TIA!

No idea sorry Qlou. Just give Renee or Rhonda a call I'm sure they will be able to tell you.

Hi Rosewhite. Yeah plenty of ladies have. The low cost is more to do with the fact that it bulk billed to Medicare in a way, there's no hospital/anaesthetist fees and freezing is extra. They work on a quality rather than quantity basis and have had great success. Also, the nurses run the show and you don't see the same FS each time, this reduces the cost.

You can get all your previous cycle information transferred and they will base your dose on your previous response to the stims.

Thanks Ngaiz. The thing is, during IVF cycles I'm usually on around 400 Gonal F due to my low AMH levels. Even with that dosage I got 10 and 9 eggs during the 2 x long down reg cycles I did and only 4 eggs for the antagonist I did. I don't think the Springwood Fertility Centre would go anywhere near those stim levels, would they?

Rose white mine amh was 3.2 before I did Ivf at the centre. And I got pregnant! The centre concentrates on quality not quantity. Good luck!

What dosage were you on Qloulou? I agree with the quality over quantity, but with the level my AMH is (1.5 2 years ago, so would be less now), if I don't have a high dosage of the stims, then there is a real chance of not getting any eggs.

I was on 150 gf I think. I guess you will have to talk to the centre about the stims. Do you have an appointment made?
Mine is probably lower now to. We are hoping to try for number two next year because I know if we want more than one we can't wait to long. So we will think about it when bub is 6 months.

I've logged a call with them, waiting for them to call back. I used Westmead Fertility Centre in Sydney and will have to travel down there for treatment if they won't treat me at Springwood. No way can we afford the costs of other clinics!
