Well i got my scan today The lady said so ok they know your edd, why are you getting a scan? I happily said "paranoia" She just laughed. Lil minion is doing well, HB at 176bpm and constantly moving and shaking all around, add to that the yolk sac that looks like a balloon and its having a raging party in there So much happier and less stressed now And its measuring what it should be perfectly! I would post the pictures but i never remember how to on this forum!
I still haven't bought a single thing, i guess maybe because i didn't want it taken away from me after i start buying stuff and also it still doesn't feel real?

Kittybee that's wonderful. Was the image really clear? I was google imaging what I'm likely to see at around 7 weeks.

Do any of you know if it's safe to take anything for Nausea?? I have access to Ondansetron + Metoclopramide but when I look it up online no research is available to confirm/ deny safety in pregnancy, particularly the 1st trimester. I've only ever seen it prescribed at work in cases of hyperemesis graviidarum & even then some doctors are reluctant to prescribe it. I hate to complain & I should be really grateful that I'm pregnant but I'm feeling awful. Have barely left the house in over a week, only to go to work...I can't even sit out in the garden. I go from couch to bed, when not sleeping I'm eating. I'm not physically sick, but severely nauseated morning, noon & night. If being sick would make me feel better I'd welcome it as it stands I can barely move. Hubby is getting annoyed cos I'm not going out and doing very little, think he worries that I'm depressed he just doesn't understand. I wish I could do more but the only thing that helps is lying down & preferably sleeping. I'm wiped out.

Sorry for the rant. I'm petrified of feeling like this (or worse) up to and beyond 12 weeks.

Kitty that's great news and exciting! I only went shopping to cheer myself up.

Sucks that you're not well Pap but it's a great sign, I'd do anything for symptoms. At 7 weeks you're likely to see something that resembles a slug, haha. Ginger tablets are meant to be really good if you're not vomiting. Metoclopramide is Category A and first line treatment. Ondansetron is Cat B3??, which means there's no data (because no one does studies on pregnant women) but has been taken by many and "appears" safe. Hope it doesn't last too long.
