I am so sorry Kittybee, this journey can suck big time some times .
I hope they next cycle is your lucky one, as you so deserve it.

Ngaiz, we might end up cycling together or not to far apart.
I have our first appointment on the 4th July and then go back on the 30th July for test results and hopefully pick up injections and start our cycle.
I have never been to a fertility clinic or done IVF for myself.
I did a gestational surrogacy for a couple, but embryo didn't stick and they could only afford to do it once.
So the only part of the IVF journey I have experienced it the embryo transfer and the 2ww.

So sorry to hear your news Kittybee. I've been thinking of you. I hope you get some answers as to why they believe they're not sticking. Look after yourself xx

Start injecting on Saturday!!! Excited and nervous. Bit stressed out with work stuff though.
Doing acupuncture this cycle so hopefully that will help too. Not had caffeine for 4 months, and husband has given up smoking so hopefully all those things combined will equal a BFP.

    Hi guys,

Hope you're all well. It's exciting to see lots of you starting your cycles again.

I thought I'd put down my experience for others. After stimming for an extra week I finally made it to EPU on Tuesday. Honestly I didn't think I'd make it as my ovaries weren't really responding. It was completely different to last time. My levels were upped from 100ui to 125ui of GonalF and I stimmed much longer (first cycle was 150ui and I overstimulated badly). My left ovary did not respond at all and when triggering I had 2 maybe 3 follies on my right side.

I was surprised that I found the EPU procedure relatively painless. I just had the valium and panadene as well as the gas and I didn't feel that much discomfort. Though I only had one ovary to grab from (they didn't touch my left side). I had 3 follies but one didn't contain an egg. In all I got two eggs. I was so disappointed but they kept telling me that was a good result. I had a little cramping that night and was knocked out pretty much all day from the drugs lol but honestly it was nothing like I expected.

It was nerve wracking as all hell waiting for the call the next day!! I was told that both fertilized. Today I had a day two 5 cell grade 3 embryo (Bonnie said most pregnancies come from grade 3) transferred today. The other embryo was still a 2 cell and she said she would call tomorrow and let me know if it was freezable...but I don't think I'll pay the $$ for one Embie.

So after a pretty stressful cycle I'm grateful to have made it to the end! Fingers crossed it works but if it doesn't I'll just try for 3rd time lucky. At least I won't be anxious about the procedures!

Good luck to all those cycling soon.

    xx

Thanks for that, I really appreciate reading people experiences as I am yet to start my first cycle.
As they say, you only need one, and I really hope for you that this is your super sticky little embryo.
Glad to hear that the egg collection wasn't too painful for you.
I really hope I have the same experience when it is my turn. But I will expect the worse and then it will be a nice surprise if it isn't painful.
I look forward to hearing the results from you blood test in 2 weeks.
