The problem with codeine is the only codeine you will get without a prescription will contain either paracetamol or ibuprofen as well.
Although, that might be different in NZ I guess...

called the medical hotline. they said no ibuprofen. I could have codiene but can't get pure codiene without a prescription and will need to go to dr for that tomorrow.

They did suggest having a strong coffee as coffee is a natural anti-inflammatory so having a coffee now and heat bagging again. Made the stupid mistake of stretching to see how far I could stretch and bang pain surged back.

    thank you for your input!!

I'd be careful with the coffee too, too much caffeine is not generally recommended in pregnancy. I think you're supposed to be able to have 2 cups a day but if you're making it extra strong you might have to stop at one?

ah Darcy turns out I couldn't stomach the coffee anyway. I am normally such a coffee drinker and it just doesn't appeal.

Woke up no better than I went to bed so waiting for local medical clinic to open so I can go and get looked at. Am hoping it is something some physio can fix!

Ha and morning sickness is back this morning, ah the fun of not being able to stand and run quickly when you are pregnant. Lots of deep breathing going on. Far out am only 8 weeks along, hope this isn't a sign of things to come!
