    I buy flavoured sausages like tomato and onion etc, remove the skin, cut a sheet of puff pastry in half and line up the meat along one side. Roll it up, brush with milk and cut into party sausage roll size, then bake in the oven till golden

    So good and mega easy!

    I've never used breadcrumbs or egg in mine either (other than brushing the pastry with some egg for shine/ to stick it).

    I tend to cook up some beef mince with garlic and onion, and then add any random veggies I feel like (usually mushrooms or zucchini), blend it all in to a bit of a mush, and then shape in to sausage roll shapes inside the pastry. Never had a problem with it not holding its shape.

    I used beef mince some gates carrot 2 garlic cloves chopped up 2 tbspoons Of tomato sauce and sweet chilli sauce some salt and pepper and half a cup of breadcrumbs.

    The egg I used to seal the puff pastry and to brown the top I didn't bother putting it in the mixture itself.

    They were yummy as! Big hit all round!
