    Default Sausage rolls

I couldn't find a cooking/food area if there is one feel free I move this!

Anyone got any nice home made sausage roll recipes they'd like to share?!

I have a few - the ones DH likes the best is the most unhealthiest but I usually do it for parties etc

500g sausage mince ( get from butcher)
    1 onion chopped finely
    1 egg
    1/2 cup breadcrumbs
    1 tea spoon worstershire sauce
    Salt and pepper

Mix all together , cut a sheet of puff pastry in half, put mince mixture in log shape in the middle of the pastry and roll up, brush with egg wash or a little milk, sprinkle with sesame seeds, cut into desired lengths and bake in pre heated 180 oven for about 15 mins until cooked

The ones I usually do to take to picnics or sometimes for lunch I do the same thing but substitute sausage mince for chicken or salmon mince, add garlic and herbs and a little mustard to the mix, grate zuchini or carrot , sprinkle with chia seeds and bake

I had some really nice ones at a party and the maker said instead of breadcrumbs you soak bread in water and them add that. It will break up from stiring the mixture and keeps them moist

    1kg sausage mince (from butcher)
    1 onion finely chopped
    1 grated carrot
    1 grated zucchini
    1 tablespoon bbq sauce
    1 egg
Breadcrumbs (sorry not sure how much)

Your chicken/salmon ones sound delicious ElijahsMum (as usual). I'll have to give them a go.

We don't use breadcrumbs or egg in ours and they turn out pretty good. Not for any health issue, just don't and I promise they stay together

    Sausage mince (from butcher)
    Beef mince (lean)
    Onion
    Garlic
    Zucchini
    Capsicum
    Carrot
    Salt
    Pepper
    Chilli (sometimes)
    Cheese
    Puff or shortcrust pastry

Really yummy. On occasions we add mustard, spices etc...
