We have 4 kids and have a land cruiser. Great car because we have plenty of room and 2 extra seats for friends but it is annoying for the 2 in the third row to get in and out.

We're having #4 in August. We're getting a Mercedes Valente. It's actually got more boot space than the tarago and is cheaper (slightly).

Toyota Hi-Ace with the back seat removed to make it legal to drive on a normal licence.
So 11 seats and 1&1/2 metres of boot space. I never put my pram down, just chuck it in as is.

    LOVE IT....

Mercedes viano (just the more $$ version of the valente). Love love it! The back two rows can face each other limo style so kids can face each other and it easy to get to the back row. Huge boot space, I just lift my pram in no folding.
Turning circle brilliant, Diesel engine, head room inside far better than a tarago.
And Mercedes build quality not to mention 5 star ANCAP rating. Also a true 8 seater (many so called 8 seaters aren't really. Ie we can easily fit six car seats in ours)

I have a mazda CX9. I wanted something that didn't look like a van, has aircond in the 3rd row and plenty of room for 4 carseats..
Downside is that it doesn't have a huge boot space but it does fit my prams and a little bit of shopping.
