    Default Just wanted to say...

I am loving bed sharing with my little man. He is a week old. He sleeps in his bassinet during the day and then until his first night feed. Then we cosleep. I sleep better and so does he. I'm going to miss it next week when my DP is better. But it will only stop for a week. Then we get our own house and the king sized bed is a little more accepting of our new little occupant. Lol

Its lovely isnt it? I co-slept with DS exclusively pretty much for the first 5 months (until he found his legs!). It meant we could both get more sleep as he would fall asleep on the boob... It worked for us

I couldn't believe they let me cosleep at the hospital my second night. The midwife showed me how to attach lying down then told me to go to sleep at 4am. My ob came around at about 7 to find both bub and I passed out with my boob hanging out. Whoops! Lol. He didn't say anything about it either. Not did the next midwife

I really don't wanna stop, even though I know it's only for a few days... It's just the bed isn't big enough for the there of us! I can't wait for my DP to be back with me, but it's upsetting that I will have to stop cosleeping when he's back

Our 11mo DD sleeps in our bed most nights.. She sleeps better.. We sleep better.. When the time is right she'll move to her own bed but for now I just enjoy it!

However.. We don't generally tell people coz everyone has an opinion and the general consensus is we are silly for doing it and people look down their noses at us!!!

It's beautiful! DD comes into our bed after her first wake during the night. She falls asleep on the boob and snuggles into me
