    I would wean him off it. There's a school of thought that rice cereal should no longer be offered to babies as a first food as it has no nutritional value, may cause tummy grumbles and is essentially just a filler, not a food of itself.

    I agree with pp who said mix it with purées and gradually decrease the cereal content. Good luck.

    If he likes cereal and rice there is nothing bad in that. But excess of everything is bad. So give him but in certain amount. Secondly, do try different food in front of him. Then he will also start taking it seeing you enjoying it.One thing, please reduce chilli in his food.

    LOL!! No, he doesn't get chilli! If the old wives tails have any truth to them though, he should have tasted it through my milk on occasion...
