    Default Early induction

Was anyone induced early due to baby's growth? Just been told mine had lost weight in her abdomen. Now I have to have CTG scans twice a week and another ultrasound which will determine whether they think I should be induced. A big shock to me

Yes. Hi march2013. In an hour i will head to hospital for gel induction. Ob will break waters in morning and c section if all that fails or if bub needs to come out sooner.
Not the way i planned but I have spent the last week very nervous over the lack of growth so i have come to terms with going with the flow. The abdomen is very slim on my baby girl too and they estimate she will be under 6 pounds. I am 39 weeks. My bub showed slow growth for maybe the last two to three weeks and then no growth this last week.
I am sure they will do the right thing and induce if necessary. Try not to stress although I know it is easy to say.
wishing you all the best. :-)

I turn 37 weeks tomorrow. Have another CTG and Doppler on Thursday then scan next week when they will decide. I will be just 38 weeks then. I guess they induce soon after they make decision?
They were cross sonographer told me everything was fine.
Thanks for your support. I don't know what is do without bub Hub!

    Default Early induction

Been measuring in 5th percentile all along, sometimes below the line. She's only 5 pounds now so they predicted 6 by birth but as she's lost weight it showed shes taking fat stores from
    The liver.

So I'm being induced sat night now at 37 w and 4 days. The fluid has dropped from 15 to 6 in a week. Now I'm thinking is that enough to get her thru till sat! I'm sure hospital wouldn't have sent me home if they thought it wasn't enough but can stop thinking about it!

Best of luck march2013! They don't muck around so if they had any concern, they would do something asap.
My induction didnt work for a few reasons and had a c section on tuesday. Best part is my beautiful little lucinda is healthy and sleeping next to us right now!

Big Hugs, If they were concerned they would be straight in to get bub especially considering you have reached full term. There is no "reason" for them to delay if they felt bub was at any risk.
This is a great time to start talking to your bub and reassuring her that you are taking good care of her and she will soon be in your arms. Let her know that you are ready to meet her whenever she is ready and you might find you go into labour before Saturday. She is safe and im wishing you a joyful start to your life together. Hang in there and take deep breaths. xx
