Default How often do you apply lip balm?

All the time in winter, hardly ever in summer! Does anyone have any suggestions for a natural one? I use paw paw but I was annoyed to find out it is in a petroleum jelly base (Lucas paw paw)

Love the comments thank you I need to start using mine more I think.

I don't like lip gloss, but do like lip balm. Good to know they are probably okay to use still

I use it after cleaning my teeth, before bed and a few times thru the day. I love it and could not live without it. I always have at least three open lip balms, usually avon brand

I use lip balm maybe every hour?
My lips start to dry out and peel very quickly if I don't.

As a child I used to get dry and cracked lips pretty regularly.

I think I've read somewhere there's an ingredient in most balms to almost make you addicted ie. HAVE to use it contantly to avoid cracked lips...

Tried to wean myself off it once, lasted 3 hours before I couldn't cope lol

Depends what I'm using it for.

I have some colour-free ones that I just use when I'm sick and my lips are feeling like crap. I reapply as needed (regularly, usually).

If it's a coloured one, I can usually tell I need to reapply because I can feel it's no longer on there (or only a little is left), and thus my colour has probably faded too. So then I just reapply then.

    I don't wear it daily.

Only if my lips are cracked and sore.

I find the more you use it, the more you need to use it. I find most lipbalms actually dry your lips out even more and then the need to reapply. Im sure its a marketing gimmick!
