    You should be able to, I did with my dd and it was something my mum suggested as my fiance had passed away some time before her birth. My mum saw it as a way for me to have something in common with my partner as he cut the cord for our ds 2yrs earlier. It's happened really quick but so glad I experienced it . And I know their daddy would have been proud. Definitely recommend it, hope all goes well
