Default How involved was your DH in choosing baby names?

Very involved - DS has the same first name as DH!

We had no luck agreeing on any other boys name. Luckily DS suits the name perfectly (he looked just like a little version of DH when he was born).

If we had a girl then we had the name completely agreed upon.

I would feel a little sad if DH didn't have any interest in the naming process.

Very involved. We discussed, debated and made a joint decision on all three of the kids names. We both had names we preferred, but used ones we both liked even if they weren't our first choices.

very involved. I feel it helped him bind with our dd, took the meaning if her name very seriously, and we both just knew that the name we chose was hers when I suggested it to him.

DF suggested DS name when I was only 6 weeks pregnant and I loved it. Now I am pregnant again he suggested a girls name that I fell in love with and that's set. Boys well if we have a boy we are screwed! We cant find any either of us like.

None! He just wouldn't take it seriously and kept suggesting Sharon, Denise, Trevor, Roger etc. in the end if he didnt screw up his nose at names I suggested they went on the list. I narrowed it down to my favourites and told him what I liked best and I think the best I got was "yeah, that's alright". 3 weeks before DD2 was born he decided he didn't like my favourite name so I told him to let me know what he liked better, and he didn't come up with anything so she got my favourite name. DH doesn't remember ever saying he didnt like it.

DH was very involved - he chose DS's name and I adored it. Turned out it was the name of a character from a fav book series of mine which DH hadn't realised. No mean feat either as its not a common name.

I wanted a unisex middle name as if we have more than one child they will all have the same middle name (family thing - we all have the same middle name). DH suggested this as well...again, I loved it

Not hugely. He'd only ever suggest ludicrous names so I told him we were going with my favourite unless he came up with something better. He didn't so I got my way. I had DH's dad's first name as DS's middle name so he wasn't too hard done by
I'm pretty much already set on a girl's name with this one too (if it is a girl) so I predict a similar scenario happening again.

I pretty much read every name on the internet in a desperate attempt to find one he liked until he decided he liked one. Then I didn't but it grew on me and he let me have the middle name I wanted if he could have the first name.

This time, we have agreed reasonably early and OH has been so much more involved and suggesting names. We have both sexes names picked already.

I gave DH a short list of names and he struck out a few and we chose from the rest

I made a short list, Dh made a short list, then we swapped lists and crossed the ones off we didn't like then turned the remaining names into one list. Every couple of weeks we would have a look at the list and narrow it down further. As soon as we came across DDs name it was set that that's what it would be if we had a girl, so by 20weeks when we found out her name was set. This time we did exactly the same thing, but I suggested the girls name and loved it , DH said he would be happy with it but we are having a boy. We have narrowed our boys list from 4 to 2 names but haven't been able to decide on one. DH has given me his opinion on which one he likes best but would be happy with either. If I don't develop a preference for one more than the other than we will go with DHs pick. If I decide I like the other name more than he will be happy to use that name.
