    Default Your books of 2013

So Jensha started a thread last year entitled 'your books of 2012', so i thought I would make one for this year. I'm going to add the months this time to make it a bit easier to keep track.

    January
Looking for Alaska by John Green
    1-2-3 Magic by Thomas Phelan

    February
What happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dessen
The Mothers' Club by Fiona Higgins

Next up: Home by Toni Morrison
Nothing has really excited me all that much so far, I'm afraid. I've stuck to fairly light reading since I have a newborn, but I'm pretty picky and there's not much 'fluff' I can really enjoy, I get too annoyed with the simplistic, obvious or over the top storylines and bad writing. Last year I loved the Sookie Stackhouse mysteries so i might try some more Charlaine Harris.

I have read 1 book, The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom. I love his books, this was great too.
I have started The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton but have been so tired lately that reading has taken a back seat for a while.

Cool idea! Though I barely get to read now... By the time I get into bed it's a struggle to keep my eyes open...

    January
The Guilty One - Lisa Ballantyne
Between the Lines - Jodi Picoult and daughter (not actually finished yet)

    February
    The Twelve - Justin Cronin

    March
    The Storyteller - Jodi Picoult

Up next - my Aunts book 'One Way or Another, by Nikki McWatters. It is based (still not clear how loosely) on her own life.

I've read waaaaaay too many this year.

    About 20 Virginia Andrews
    About 5 Janet Evanovich
Ivy Cole and the Moon (can't remember the author)
    About 5 Sue Grafton

This year so far I have reread the George R R Martin Game of Thrones books (all of them), read the second and third in Stig Larsson's Millenium series, read Diana Gabaldon's A Trail of Fire. I've just started a Nicholas Spark book and I'm also currently reading Ellen's book
