Default I need a chocolate cake recipe

Does anyone have a tried and tested recipe for chocolate cake? Not quite a mud cake, not sickly sweet but dense enough to ice and decorate without it crumbling, so nothing dry. Basically, I'm looking for the perfect chocolate cake
