I don't think the full names sound too similar but Bray and Clay definitely do. I think the idea of using Brady works well and you still get to use the name you love.

Agree that the nicknames of Clay and Bray are too similar, and also a bray is the loud and harsh noise a donkey makes. SORRY! Hate playing the Devil's avocado (yes I do realise it's advocate, bad joke).
But Brady and Clay sound nicer together if you still choose Brayden. BUT can you please let us in on your other option? For those of us who are big busy bodies?
I agree that Brady sounds much better than Bray and Clay. I like Brady as a first name, or maybe Bryden.
