    I've been wondering the same thing - booked in for 38+2 weeks and determined to have it! People have been teasing me saying I could go before then . . . I think they just want me to go through labour because they did!

    I asked at my booking in appt what stage they do c-sections and they so it in week 39, as there is proven less likelihood of bub needing assistance breathing or time in special care.
