My DS is 7 months old and is not interested in food, I have been trying since 6 months we first started with sweet potato that was a no go so I tried rice cereal which he has eaten a couple of times but now just isn't interested, any ideas on what to do ladies?

Just wait all babies are different, some are ready from 4mths, others not until closer to 1! Just keep offering but with no pressure.

Definitely look into Baby Led Weaning, read the book if you can - at 7 months skip the purees and go straight to finger foods, offer him a variety and he can choose what and how much he wants to eat - all babies are different and milk is still his main source of nutrition until 12 monthd so just keep offering a wide variety of food and he will get there when he is ready!

My son wasn't really interested in solids until about 9 months so don't worry, just keep offering a variety of foods ( including purée I'm not into the BLW fad lol ) I'd forget the rice cereal though. Mash potato/veg with a little apple purée was a winner then gradually decrease the amount of apple. Toast was a big winner too.
