My DD was in hers till about 4 months. She was long and rolling. I was terribly paranoid about it so out she came at 4 months.

I moved our little girl to her big cot around 5 weeks, she was not really into being wrapped and would fling her arms around and hit the edges alot. Also i found her too noisy for me to sleep, with all the baby grunting and noises they make while sleeping. So i moved her into her own room and the cot then- she is a great sleeper and our house is small so i could still hear her enough.

Our little man was transferred to his cot at 15 weeks...we should have done it earlier (prob around 12 - 13 weeks) but we loved having him in our room with us. Sadly the cot wont fit in our room! DS is a long, stong boy though and had already started rolling.

DS1 was in a bassinet like yours next to me until 6-7 months. I didn't want to move him until he was sleeping through, as his bedroom is upstairs.

He was getting too big for it by then though!

4 months. He's still in our room, just in his cot.
