Hey everyone, just wanting to get an idea of what people use to clean their house. Not store bought things, but cleaning solutions you have made yourself :-)
I know people use vinegar but how?

    Thanks :-)

I usually put about 1 cup of vinegar and a couple of drops of eucalyptus oil in a bucket of hot water for my tiles :-)

I keep vinegar diluted with water and a bit of eucalyptus oil in a spray bottle that I use to wipe down benches and surfaces.

In a spray bottle I mix water, vinegar with tea tree or eucalyptus oil (eucalyptus smells better but tea tree has stronger antibacterial properties) and a few squirts of castile soap (available from health food shops).

Lemon oil smells really nice! I use this on my floors to make them smell fresh. Also lavendar oil in your sheets washing makes them smell nice.

You can experiment with different oils that you like, citrus works well in kitchens but I always use tea tree or eucalyptus in the bathrooms. And then I add a few drops of lavendar into the sink.

Half washing powder and half bicarb for the washing machine with white vinegar and few drops of lavender oil in the softener bit. Makes your washing really lovely! And is cheaper!

1litre of water and a 1/3 teasppon of oil of cloves for the scum and mould in the shower (you know that pinky stuff) spray after every shower to keep it clean! Oil of cloves is a great anti bacterial!
