    Just after recommendations on somewhere to place my super that doesn't charge a fortune in admin fees etc?

    Same, self employed so not contributing and have made money but have still paid a fortune in fees!

    I think it's because there are no contributions being made so the balance is reducing...

    Yes exactly. We choose to contribute our money elsewhere for our retirement. The fees are eating into the balance and it is hundreds!

    Most funds still charge admin fees even if no contributions are made. I'm with virgin super, although they don't perform as well as some they offer a "baby break" feature where you don't pay fees whilst on maternity leave

    Hesta said to me if I direct debit some money even $5 i wouldnt lose money but I have just been lazy and havent done it!! Then I opened my letter and I realized I had lost $600ish I almost died! Ive only worked about 2 years in my whole life and i'm 22.
