Default So, I'm pregnant with twins... Now what?

    Hi all!
I just found out the other day at my 12 week scan that we are expecting twins! A huge surprise for us! The sonographer was pretty sure that they look like monochorionic diamniotic twins.
I'm hoping to get advice from those who have been there before. What can we expect during the pregnancy (scans, my health, etc) and after the birth? Can you recommend any resources?
We already have a son who is 16 months old and I would also love to hear from anyone who was in a similar situation and how you coped?
    Thanks!

    Hi misscheviuz,

    Congrats on your twin pregnancy!

Sorry, can't help you wish most of your questions, as the answers are still ones I am working through myself (I'm 15 weeks).

Looking through some of the other threads in the multiples section did help me to look up other information though. I have recently sent off membership for the SA Multiples association, which has equivalent bodies in other states. They have multiple groups which you can join in your own area and provide info on stores which have discounts for members. I'm yet to receive a newsletter to know what sorts of things are in that.

    Hi mischeviuz and tap,

    Congrats on the twins.

I am currently 25 weeks and expecting identical twin boys MCDA.

My first scan I was told one baby and then the obs scan I was told we had 2. It was a huge shock and happiness for us.

I have been reasonably fine, the first 3 months felt extremely tiring, it does get a little better.
