    Default Pregnant Bridesmaid

I am a bridesmaid this weekend, I'll be 33 weeks pregnant with twins!

I'm suddenly really nervous about how I'm going to look. The dresses are knee length cocktail style, we ordered them before I was pregnant so I had to get mine altered. I now have a laceup back rather than the zip the other girls have. It doesn't look great. I haven't put on much weight other than the bump, so the rest of the dress fits ok. I have to wear heels and I am already alot taller than the other bridesmaids and bride. I feel ridiculous.

Is it weird to see a pregnant bridesmaid? I normally love my bump so I don't know why I'm so worried!!

I have seen plenty of pregnant bridesmaids, you will look beautiful. Is there any chance the bride would be okay with you wearing flats? You may feel like you 'stick out' because you are taller than the others? I was a guest at a wedding when I was 8 months pregnant and glad I wore strappy flats as it was cocktail and my back killed by the end of the night.
Have fun, once you are all dressed up you will feel beautiful.

My bm was about that far along too at my wedding, we had long dresses but looked great. Everyone will be wanting to know how you are feeling rather than look at your back. Good luck!

I'm stuck with the shoes unfortunately, being shorter dresses and a very unusual colour we found it hard to find anything and I don't want different shoes aswell as my dress being different!! I will look like a giant though.

Thankyou! Hopefully after hair and makeup I won't feel too bad. It will be a long day.

My sister was 30 wks pregnant with twins when she was my bridesmaid.
Make sure you sit down as much as possible! And get your shoes off as soon as you sit down.
You must love the bride heaps!

I was a pregnant bridesmaid, though the dress was chosen knowing that I might be and I was only 20 weeks along with one baby.

I was bare foot a lot though. I just opted to sit down as much as I could too!

You will look beautiful!! I love the look of pregnant people no matter what to wear. Don't forget to stow some thongs somewhere for later!

i made sure I gave each of the my bridesmaids a pair for the reception. Put them on their seats so when they got to the reception they had a little surprise!

You will look fantastic. A hint? Sounds dumb but pack a blender and fresh fruit/juice so you can make yourself a fruit cocktail when you are getting ready with everyone else to have in a champagne glass. I felt so out of place when I was a pregnant bm and everyone was having a glass of bubble while getting ready and when I called and told my DP he dropped this off and it did make me feel better.
