Default Do u ever skip the pill so no period?

What kind of pill are you on? Doesn't work 100% for some pills.

I did for 10 months straight, probably not the best for you. That was a few years ago.

I was on levlen for 7 years before coming off to TTC. I only had AF once every 6 months. My GP suggested it as a way to control my headaches. Didn't help with those but I loved having no AF so kept taking the pill continuously. I changed Dr during the 7 years and my new GP had no issue with it.

I didn't have any problems conceiving after the continuous pill taking. I just gave my body 6 months off the pill before TTC.

I would suggest talking to your GP about it before doing it though.

Yep, I do it. Every now and then I'll "let" myself have a period or else I find my body creates a backlog, and will do it on its own anyway.

I used to do it all the time. I could get away with it for 3 months and then is get a period regardless of whether or not I'd skipped the sugar pills- like my body was telling me I couldn't trick it for another month really!

I'm on levlen and have been on and off for about 10 years and almost always have skipped the sugar pills, and it hasn't caused any problems thus far.

I was told when I questioned if i needed to take the the sugar pills, that they are there to keep you on schedule

When I was taking the pill I skipped periods quite often. I would skip 3 months then have a period on the fourth. I suffer extreme migraines and this manages them a little.

I did this but could only go 3 months then would have a period, otherwise I'd suffer headaches and cramps. My doctor recommended having a period and the pain was gone.
