    Default First Period after birth?

I've had my period return 2 days ago, about 11.5 weeks after my c-section and 6.5 weeks after my lochia finished (and feeling completely ripped off! Was hoping for longer and considering I'm exclusively BF, feeling a bit disappointed!), just wanted to know was yours a very heavy period? I'm having the usual af cramping, although not as bad as it usually is, but the bleeding seems quite heavy and bright red (sorry tmi) compared to my normal period. Also did it last longer than normal? Did they return regularly from then on?

    Default First Period after birth?

Mine wasn't so much heavier, but lasted for about ten days. I felt ripped off too - but mine came at 8 weeks.

I haven't had another since (but I still get all the PMS ), first I put it down to wonky hormones, but then I realised I had Implanon re-inserted 2weeks prior, and this period may well have been a response to the extra hormones in my system.

    Default First Period after birth?

Apparently once bub starts sleeping longer at night (4hrs+) is when ur period usually returns, even with EBF.

    HI Ladies,

I know its been a while since this thread has been active, but AF arrived 3 days ago, and she has come back with a vengeance! Bub is 8 months old and im still BF

Im used to really bad period pain, but this is crazy, being day 3 i would have expected it to have eased off, but no, its all across my back, lower stomach and this is the worst part, all down my left leg! i usually get crampy legs with day 1, but this is very painful and it makes standing and walking difficult. And today im feeling nauseas!
Im just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar....

Mine returned 5 weeks after my c section. Initially they were heavier and more painful...it was awful. But 11 months later and theyre back to normal
