Default How did you come up with your forum name?

When I first joined the hub as a newbie to forums I used my name!
Got hounded by some regulars months later to change my name. That week I overheard two mothers in my mothers group describe me as 'one of THOSE mums'. So thought it was appropriate!

Mine is a nickname from when I was a kid and it relates to my real name. Think of those cute little chipmunks Chip and ...
A friend started calling me Chippa when I was about 8 and her and her mum still do some 25 years later lol!!!

My MIL constantly refers to people with the "pigeon pair" as being "soooooo lucky to have one of each". When I was pregnant with DD2 she said 3 times "I wonder if you'll be lucky enough to have a boy"....third time I bit her head off and said after having to conceive via IVF and having a miscarriage as well I thought I was pretty damn lucky to be having a baby at all. So, from that came my username of GirlsRock.

I work in a male dominated office, already had a DS and my DH at home, our pets are boys and I'd just had my scan for our long awaited IVF bub who was of course ... A boy!

I didn't really care that I wasn't having a girl ... But there was a moment when I realised that I was a girly girl and my life forever could possibly be full of too many boys!!

I remember when you changed your name but can't remember what your old name was.

I was involved in a thread talking about a shared love of The Young Ones, so it seemed only fair to pay homage to it with my user name.
