Sl: I bled fairly constantly for 3-4 weeks and would then get random gushes.it was usually a fairly good indicator that I had overdone it the day before.

I'm still bleeding on and off, nothing heavy now... I stopped about 5 days after c-section then started again about 3 days later... It's 4 weeks since on Monday :-)

Amy I've been to see 3 LC'S and mine are killing me as well, can't wait until her little mouth is bigger!

I'm yet to master being discrete breast feeding, I'm having trouble with the flow I seem to leak and spray everywhere. I thought breast feeding would come naturally but it's quite the opposite.

I stopped bleeding a week after my C/S went to a normal discharge colour, did number 2's and gushed then the bleeding started again. It's been 3 weeks now and much worse after going to the toilet. Not sure that's normal or not

My little girl has started to smile, oh so cute when I pick her up from her bassinet.

I'm at the royal women's with lumps and breast thrush. I've had to tell the doc where their protocols are on their website so doubt I'm going to have much luck getting this sorted. I'm so over feeling like razor blades are slicing me every time I feed!

Oh no Beta...my LC just warned me of that, she said since I'm on antibiotics it could happen...grr hope you recover soon.

So this LC said to me that if I want Ivy sleeping more at night I need to feed her more in the day...so she said I should wake every 2.5-3 hours and it will take a week...

So we will try that again, there is so much advice sometimes it's so hard to know which to take, but ill stick to this for now.

Anyone know how long it should take for all the swelling to go away...for example my wedding rings still don't fit...

Also how long is normal to return to pre baby weight....I am currently 5kg heavier than before I got pregnant...although haven't done any exercise yet.

Judy hoping my rings fit again soon
