My little boy asleep on Daddy's lap.... We are still having feeding challenges going back to Lactation Consultant this morning, hopefully we can get a plan that will work, at the moment I am expressing for every feed as he won't feed off me, he either falls asleep within minutes or screams his head off and just won't latch on, so hard, it's heart breaking, my biggest worry is that he is starving... If we can't sort it out we're going to have to mix feed or switch solely to formula, not the end of the world but just not how I pictured things... In the end though I have to think of my little boy & my mental health...

    Hope you're all well XX
My exclusive BF hasn't worked, Jaan hadn't gained enough weight so it's back to formula top ups, my obs reckons older women have supply issues! Old bag here at 37. Not how I imagined things either but at least I'm breastfeeding. Now I've got nipple thrush again it is excruciating. Definitely agree you need to look after your mental health.

    Nala -
Glad you have found feeding in bed ok, hope you get some rest at the same time? Jaan won't sleep by himself at night! We are officially bed sharers, he has his own sleeping bag, I love it except I'm like a statue all night, but we are all sleeping 6-7 hours now.
